The Angelo Coast Range Reserve is a research and teaching facility of the University of California, located just north of Truckee, California.
Hastings Natural History Reservation
Through hands-on experience, a wildlife biology class from Carmel Valley High School learned about the local flora and fauna and wildlife science.
Sagehen Creek Field Station
A 5th grade Truckee Elementary School class learned how to take field notes and document biodiversity. They saw how to take morphological measurements of small rodents, then collected and identified insects caught at the Reservation.
